Having the boxes means the down will pretty much stay right there and that means, no more shaking it in the morning to redistribute the down! The other featherbeds in the world are 90%feather 10% down, but as we make ours by hand at our factory we decided to make the best in the world….so ours is 50% down and 50% fine class 3 feather it is well…so soft, fluffy, and feathers don’t poke you like a bump in the night.
